The sensor that sees while you weld

The Motoline is a laser vision sensor for robotic welding that projects a line onto the material surface and captures its 2D profile at high speed. It detects the weld joint, calculates its exact position and sends corrections to the robot in real time while welding.

It does not matter if the part is misaligned, if there are variations between batches or if the material deforms due to heat. The Motoline automatically compensates for everything.

The result: uniform weld beads, defect-free welds, and no rework.

Motoline solves the two problems that consume the most time and money in robotic welding: finding the weld joint and maintaining it throughout the entire welding process.

Before welding starts, it locates the starting point, automatically correcting positioning deviations. During welding, it monitors the joint at every moment and sends micro-corrections to the robot or PLC.

The result is a uniform, defect-free weld bead, without the need for manual intervention or rework.

The sensor includes a presence detector that warns when the window is not installed, preventing welding operations with a compromised sensor.
