[EN] Motofil’s investment at Global Industrie Lyon 2019

Salons, Industrie

From the 5th to 8th of March, Motofil was in Lyon to participate, once again, at GLOBAL INDUSTRIE, a trade show that, for several years now, has been a platform for Motofil to strengthen its proximity to this market.

Last year, in Paris, Motofil chose to focus its participation on its thermal cutting solutions, but this year the focus returned to its welding robotics solutions and, for that, the company presented a Double Squadra Positioner with Gantry. This compact solution has a linear axis gantry where the robot can move, allowing it to have access to the parts to be welded, ensuring a smaller cell footprint. This equipment is suitable for welding of parts with small and medium dimensions, whose geometry can be simple or complex. Some of Motofil’s reference clients that have this solution, come from industries such as: agriculture, heating systems, metallic furniture, among others.

Paulo Monteiro, European Sales Manager, was pleased with the impact that the chosen solution had on those who visited Motofil’s booth and mentioned the importance of this trade show for Motofil’s presence on the French Market: “we had more visitors and contacts, comparing with last years, and we also had the opportunity to strengthen our relationship with distributors in this area. Through this approach we will be able to offer more and better solutions to this market.”

Motomig’s welding wire, also present at the stand, is no longer a strange brand to this market, where Motofil has a large network of clients and partners. Pedro Romão, Motomig’s Sales Representative in France, states that this trade show “confirmed the reputation and notoriety that the Motomig brand has on the consumables market (regarding welding wire). The presence of this brand that belongs to the Motofil’s universe, on the French market, reveals that the strategy designed was the right one and that our clients trust in what we offer”.

In the second day of GLOBAL INDUSTRIE, we had the pleasure to receive in our booth, the visit of João Neves, Secretary of State of Economy, Luís Câmara, Consul General of Portugal in Lyon, and Rui Almas, AICEP Delegate in France.

The result of this trade show was, once again, very positive, which makes us even more motivated to participate in next year’s edition in Paris.
