[EN] Goals accomplished in another WindEurope

Salon, WindEurope

[EN] From the 23rd to the 25th of November, Motofil team was once again at the wind energy fair, WindEurope. This year's edition took place again in the Danish capital, Copenhagen, where the latest innovations in the wind market were showcased, with a special focus on offshore wind towers.

During the fair, very interesting contacts were made, which served to create bridges with potential customers in the wind energy market, a market with big growing prospects.

Pedro Campos, COO of Motofil, got a good impression from Copenhagen for the coming times: “I was left with the perception that, after these two years of shutdown, the wind farm market will pick up even more strongly. There will be a strong commitment to offshore wind parks and a strong entry of new players into the market. For example, there is a large player in fossil fuels, Shell, which intends to enter, in 2022, in the offshore industry to produce hydrogen, that is, to capture energy from the wind to produce electrical energy that is necessary to produce hydrogen. We couldn't have better news”, he said.

On the other hand, Motofil's COO considers that it was also pointed that there is no installed capacity to produce the necessary wind towers, “we are going to go from 197 GW currently installed to more than 380 by 2030”, he concluded.

WindEurope Electric City is a unique event that brings together companies in the wind industry with participants from other areas. Storage, hybrids, transportation, mobility, automotive and many other sectors are taking advantage of this fair to showcase their latest products and services.
